Dear Jim,

I just had to share the following with you: after you installed a whole house fan in our home on May 7th, we purchased a new Carrier heating and a/c system (the old system was getting old and needed to be replaced). We were so proud of having purchased such a high efficiency system!!! The problem is … WE JUST HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO TRY OUT THE NEW A/C. Not even during the dry spell week before last!!! Your fan works too well!!! It works so well I'm wondering why I bought a new a/c.

We have been following your instructions and we have been opening a few strategic windows in the early morning hours and cooling down the house at that time. We are able to bring down the temperature inside as much as 7 degrees. We then close the blinds and go to work. I am the first one to return home; usually at around 4pm. THE HOUSE HAS NEVER BEEN HIGHER THEN 74 DEGREES AT THAT TIME. For example, today the temperature outside was 81; inside it was 71 when I came home.

One afternoon last week, when I returned home, I mentioned this to my neighbor who has a home just like ours. We went into his house and it was 78 degrees; then we came over to my house and it was 73 degrees, a 5 degree difference!! He became an instant believer but, I am afraid since he is a handyman, he is going to try and install something similar on his own.
